Client Manager - Business Services - Direct Pathway to Partnership

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Client Manager to join a dynamic, client-focused and established Accounting Firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional with Public Practice experience, who is ready to take the next step in their career and progress towards salary partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and SMSFs.
• Preparing FBT returns, BASs, and IASs.
• Managing a team of accountants and delegating work accordingly.
• Managing your own client portfolio, with the opportunity to build and expand this portfolio from existing client relationships.
• Actively participating in business development activities and fostering new client relationships.
• Providing client-facing advisory services and offering solutions to meet client needs. Travel to and from clients as required.
• Participating in firm internal and external training sessions.

Skills & Experience:

• Completed an accounting degree (BCom or BBus).
• At least 6+ years of experience in business services within an Australian public practice firm.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients.
• Experience in managing a team and delegating work effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger engagement team.
• Local Australian public practice experience with a solid understanding of Australian taxation laws.
• A well-established network in the industry, with the ability to engage in business development activities.

• Are polished in presentation, able to articulate complex financial concepts in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
