Metro is looking for experienced HC Drivers for weekend work (Friday - Sunday) located in Minchinbury. Please note, this position is not suitable for someone already committed to a full-time (5-day) work week.

About the role:

• Must be available to work Fri, Sat & Sun
• 2pm – 4pm or 6pm start – Need to be flexible with start times
• Regional DC dock to dock deliveries
• Bulk grocery deliveries
• Drivers fully trained to load truck themselves so they can get in and get the job done and out on the road
• Using electric pallet jacks for loading and unloading

To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

• Current HC Drivers licence
• BFM & Refrigerated experience ideal but not essential
• Clear Driving Record - must be willing to provide a RMS print out
• Australian Federal Police Check required
• Follow site safety and food safety program (HACCP)
• Good communication skills
• Possess a high level of accuracy with attention to detail
• Pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screen to be done at Eastbrooke Medical Centre - cost is $169 up front or $44 for the D & A screen and Metro will pay the difference
• Cost for medical will be reimbursed after working for 2 weeks
• Police Check required
• Fit & healthy
