About the role.

Savasana Private is looking for multiple Residential Support Workers to join our Savasana North Residential private luxury rehabilitation facility to support our clients with alcohol and other drug-related difficulties as well as mental health issues and overall wellness.

Responsibilities

Look after the day-to-day running of the household (including, but not limited to allocation and supervision of residents' chores).

Provide support to counsellors, chefs, facilitators, and others in the implementation of care plans

Participate in staff meetings, professional supervision, and in-service training as required.

Ensure the residence is in a clean, well-presented condition

Accompanying people on agreed routine outings such as recreational activities.

Listen to and partake in activities that meet the interests and goals of clients.

Encourage shared learning experiences and support skill development at every opportunity through self-directed learning, information, and education.

Provide and promote a safe and healthy environment that is free of harassment and which encourages a positive atmosphere.

Have excellent interpersonal skills, be non-judgmental, be fair, and patient, have the willingness to listen, and display empathy.

The ideal candidate is available to work shift work as required;

Night shift – overnight stay

Day Shift

Afternoon Shift

Weekend Days / Nights

All bedding and bathroom facilities will be provided along with a locker for personal belongings.

Parking is available onsite.
