Organisation Summary:

Murray House is a community based, not-for-profit aged care facility that is overseen by a voluntary Board of Directors located in Wentworth, NSW, just 25 minutes’ drive from Mildura. The facility has the capacity to house 65 residents, who have chosen to make it their home and live in private and comfortable accommodation. We pride ourselves in the provision of excellent quality care in a friendly, caring and warm environment.

Position Summary:

We are seeking Kitchen Hands to join our Hospitality team.

Due to the nature of the Aged Care industry, we have lots of work with a variety of hours.

Ideally, we are seeking people with the following skills:

• Previous Kitchen Hand experience
• Quick learner with a positive attitude
• Current drivers’ licence and own reliable transport
• Availability for ad-hoc shifts, mornings, and afternoon (At least 4 shifts per week)

About the roles:

• food preparation.
• loading and unloading dishwasher.
• food service at times.
• shifts are generally 4 – 8 hours.
• variety of shifts morning, and evening finishing at 8pm.
• weekend work available.
• option to choose the hours and shifts that suit you.
• penalty rates apply.

Essential Criteria:

• Willing to obtain a NDIS Check
• Proof of COVID Triple Vaccinations
