About the role

Sushi Mi' is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking kitchen hand to join our team in our Banyo, Queensland restaurant. As a casual kitchen hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing excellent service to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Making sushi with sushi machine, doing sushi rice, making take away food as fast as possible

• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out the trash
• Stocking and restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed
• Providing support to the front-of-house team as required
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a kitchen hand or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently
• Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
• A passion for food and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
• The ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required
