An exclusive and well-respected Bayside Accounting and Wealth Advisory Practice has an immediate need for an experienced Business services Accountant to join their growing team. This is an exciting / busy role that will give you the opportunity to work with a highly experienced and decorated team of professionals. With an extensive client base, our client is very interested in candidates with strong experience across family offices.

Responsibilities are:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the multi-family office, managing and executing on all accounting requirements and tax compliance obligations, including, but not limited to, the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, BASs, IASs and income tax returns.
  • Assist the Business Manager with monthly and quarterly dashboard and investment performance, collation of data and putting the data through the dashboard reporting model.
  • Working at or with external clients managing their day-to-day requirements such as bill paying, managing accounts etc.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and ensure that the office is operating in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry professionals.

We are keen to meet candidates with the following:

  • At least 4 years of experience in an accounting practice with a focus on high-net-worth clients and family offices.
  • Accounting Degree with CA or CPA qualifications.
  • Highly proficient in Xero (for accounting compliance requirements and GST / BAS requirements), Xero Tax preparation software, and advanced skills in excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Strong financial acumen,
  • Ability to stay organised and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills,
