Your Role as a Flooring Sales Specialist

As a Flooring Sales Specialist, you will:

• Guide customers in selecting the ideal flooring and window coverings that match their aesthetic and functional needs.
• Estimate material requirements based on construction plans and measurements.
• Keep the showroom clean, organized, and inviting, ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.
• Prepare personalized quotes to match customer needs and preferences.
• Represent the Discount City Carpets brand with pride and dedication, enhancing customer trust.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team to achieve shared goals

Your Role as a Senior Flooring Salesperson

As a Senior Flooring Salesperson, you will:

• Offer expert advice on products, styles, and design, ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
• Lead the sales team to achieve individual and store-wide sales targets.
• Provide precise quotes and recommendations by interpreting construction plans and measurements.
• Guide customers in design and colour choices for both flooring and window coverings, elevating their shopping experience.
• Oversee showroom organization and presentation, creating a professional and appealing retail space.
• Foster positive customer relationships, assisting from initial product selection through to final installation.
• Collaborate closely with management to enhance sales strategies, mentor junior staff, and implement new initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

While prior experience in flooring or similar industries (ceramics, curtains and blinds, kitchen and robes, or building estimation) is beneficial, we encourage candidates with strong sales experience in any field to apply.
