Here at our Newcastle depot we are looking to add to our fun and welcoming Evening Production Team.

Working a minimum of 3 shifts per week, the Sunday to Thursday roster operates from 3pm to at least 9pm, the finish times vary but you must be able to work a minimum of 3 hours (Great work for students!)

Routine and consistency offered and to be successful you must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week with compulsory shifts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

You have a strong understanding of correct food handling procedures, and the ability to learn quickly and work independently, while being a dedicated team player.

• Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role
• Payrate listed is for an adult 21+ years old and will be less for younger applicants

The role involves...

• Ingredient preparation
• Food assembly/production
• Working with machinery
• Pick packing fresh products to be stocked on our lunch vans
• Stock handling and rotation

The role requirements…

To be successful in the role, you can offer the following;

• Safety first - we are all responsible!
• Competently (and without assistance) lift 15kg intermittently
• Work in a cool room environment
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward frequently, without discomfort
• Perform repetitive work while adhering to quality and safety standards
• Using equipment and tools, as well as operating machinery for preparation and processing (able to operate or exposure to packing machinery an advantage)
• Stand in one place for long periods of time
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment and facilities
• Reliability and available to work a minimum 3 shifts per week between the hours of 3pm until at least 9pm - finish times vary depending on workload
• Great communication skills at all levels
