Key responsibilities:

• Prepare BAS, IAS, financial statements and complete asset depreciation schedules
• Prepare tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, partnerships
• Complete Division 7A Loan Reconciliation workpapers
• Reconcile GST and CGT (property for individuals and listed shares)
• Liaise with clients across industries such as medical, engineering, retail, manufacturing and more!
• Work in a team of 2 Partners, 2 Managers, 1 Assistant Manager, 8 Accountants, 1 Undergraduate Accountant and 2 Administrators

Skills and Experience:

• MINIMUM 2-3 years' experience in an AUSTRALIAN public practice accounting firm (required)
• Exposure to Div7a, GST, CGT, FBT, Payroll, Property and Bookkeeping
• Worked with business clients with a turnover of at least $5 million
• Demonstrated experience with MYOB AE, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Quickbooks, MYOB Account Right and Xero (ideal)
• Great work ethic | motivation | positive and honest attitude | enjoys a good laugh!
• Enrolled in or is looking to enrol in a CA/CPA
