The Opportunity

Construction Recruitment Group are seeking experienced Directional Drillers and Services Locators to join our clients in Perth, Western Australia. This full-time role is integral to the continued success of our construction projects, utilising your specialised skills and expertise to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain directional drilling equipment to complete underground utility and infrastructure projects
• Accurately locate and identify underground services, utility lines and other critical infrastructure
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project progress and outcomes
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Provide on-site training and mentorship to less experienced team members
• Collaborate closely with project managers and engineering teams to achieve construction objectives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Directional Driller or Services Locator in the construction industry
• Strong technical knowledge of directional drilling equipment, underground utility mapping and detection
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction, engineering or a related field
