Inspect, Monitor and Maintain

Heidelberg Materials Australia currently have an opportunity for a Trades Assistant to join our Maintenance Team at our Glasshouse Quarry. This role will require a motivated individual who holds previous experience in Greasing, Concreting, Quarry Work or Mobile Plant Operations.

This opportunity is a permanent full-time role with expected overtime and weekend work in accordance with business needs.

In your new role with us, you will:

Conduct routine inspections, greasing and general maintenance at the quarry

Strive to lead by example when it comes to safety and delivering great results

Be a team player with a passion for delivering excellent customer service

Enjoy steady work and competitive compensation

Work at heights and work in confined spaces

Monitor hot work fire watch

Assist with general metal work (cutting, grinding etc)

Support plant housekeeping and clean up

This role is a great fit for you if you:

Current White Card or ability to obtain if successful

Have a collaborative attitude and enjoy being part of a results driven environment

Are skills focused and keen to work as part of a productive team

Have a high regard for safety policies and procedures

Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening

Current Confined space, Working at Heights and EWP Tickets or ability to obtain

Current First Aid Certificate will be highly regarded though not essential

CN, Telehandler and Dogging/Rigging Tickets will be highly regarded

Previous Greasing, Concreting, Quarry Work or Mobile Plant Operations experience will be advantageous
