We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to join a highly regarded property group and lead residential property development projects from inception through to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the built environment through strategic planning, stakeholder collaboration, and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project teams including consultants and external partners.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle from design, DA, and approvals to delivery, sales, and settlement.
• Ensure projects meet financial targets, timelines, quality, and compliance standards.
• Conduct detailed project reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders including councils, authorities, contractors, and JV partners.
• Oversee or assist with construction contracts and approvals as required.
• Guide project marketing and sales strategies alongside the Sales Manager.
• Oversee design management processes including DA submissions and design development.
• Lead stakeholder communications through PCG meetings and investor updates.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in property development, project delivery, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of construction, planning approvals, and design processes.
• Financially astute with cost control, budget management, and feasibility analysis expertise.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and time management skills.
