We’re recruiting Electrical Spotters to work on civil subdivision and infrastructure projects across Melbourne.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for spotters, experienced in underground works, on civil projects, working with excavators and other earth moving plant and equipment. Any given day will see you working near:

• Electricity cables – low and high voltage
• Telecommunication cables
• Water and drainage
• Sewer and
• Gas pipelines

In this role, you'll always ensure compliance with safety protocols and measures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). You'll be attentive on job sites, monitoring various mobile plant operations and ensuring safety standards are met. Clear communication with team members is key to keeping operations running smoothly.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in spotting underground for excavators on civil projects
• Must hold 22597VIC Course in Workplace Spotting for Service Assets issued by Energy Safe Victoria
• Must hold tickets for the plant that you are spotting - Excavator (Dogman highly desirable)
• White card
• Current license and reliable vehicle

THE PAY & BENEFITS

• $42.15 per hour and up, depending on experience
• $21.94 p/d travel allowance
• $18.51 p/d meal allowance **applicable after 9.5 hours worked
• Penalty rates for all overtime worked – regular overtime worked
