Createch Industries are currently seeking a Afternoon shift Workshop Boilermaker/Leading Hand for our Wollongong Workshop to support the delivery of projects in the heavy industry, oil and gas, and infrastructure sectors.

To be successful in this role Candidates must be able to:

• Have demonstrated and substantial experience within either the heavy industrial, oil/gas or infrastructure sectors
• Have experience working with Structural Steel
• Have experience with Pipe work & General fabrication.
• Mig,Tig & Stick Weld to Australian standards
• Good organizational and time management skills, with a great ability to follow a schedule
• An active and responsible approach to safety
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to quality and pride in your work
• A patient and positive attitude towards training others

Duties & Key Requirements:

• 5+ years as a qualified boilermaker, Welder
• 2+ years' experience as a Leading Hand with proven leadership skills
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Forklift ticket
• Must be willing to complete a pre-employment weld test
• Interface heavily with Management team
• Work well with Workshop Supervisor/Dayshift leading hand
• Must be an Australian Citizen or have rights to work with recognized qualifications
