About the role

JB Automotive Repairs in Korumburra, Victoria is seeking an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional to contribute to the success of our local automotive repair business.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose, service and repair a wide range of vehicles to the highest standard
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs, including engine work, transmission repairs, and electrical and electronic systems diagnostics
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
• Maintain detailed job records and documentation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and techniques

What we're looking for

• Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Motor Mechanic in a similar role
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to providing high-quality workmanship and customer service
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• RWC qualified preferable but not essential
