About the role

Ross's Auctioneers & Valuers' is seeking an experienced Accounts Clerk to join our team in our Welshpool office. This full-time role will be responsible for handling all accounts-related tasks to support the smooth running of our busy auction house.

What you'll be doing

• Processing invoices and accounts payable in a timely manner
• Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Providing administrative support to the finance team as required
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders as needed

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or similar role in the accounting or finance industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance would be highly regarded
