Our client is a financial services organisation experiencing significant uplift within their risk function.

This is a newly created within the Group Risk function to assist in developing and implementing the enterprise risk management framework including managing strategic risks.

Reporting to the Head of Risk, some of the responsibilities will include:

• Developing, maintaining and implementing the Risk Management Strategy and Risk Appetite Statements
• Monitoring Risk Appetite Statements and Key risk Indicators in conjunction with the business
• Conducting comprehensive prudential risk management reviews
• Managing the Risk Management Declaration for the group
• Continuously monitoring risk profiles and identifying emerging risks
• Developing trends and insights and preparing risk reports for the Board, Risk Committees and senior management
• Preparing and presenting risk training and awareness programs

The ideal candidate will have:

• Circa 4-6 years risk management experience
• Background in financial services or big 4 consulting firm is ideal
• Prior experience with Risk Management Frameworks, Risk Appetite Statements and Key Risk Indicators are preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent written communication skills or prior experience drafting risk reports
• Tertiary qualifications
