Position Overview

The positions focus is on providing technical and hands-on mechanical support to the company's range of equipment which is mobile plant and construction equipment. Day-to-day tasks and duties include working in the workshop, travelling to sites to work on company supplied equipment. Servicing, preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs, breakdowns. As with all modern heavy-equipment you’ll be dealing with mechanical, LV electrical and hydraulic systems, including onboard diagnostic systems. Specific Factory-Level equipment training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Requirements

• Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic.
• Experience and knowledge in relation to working on mobile plant/machinery including excavators, loaders, dump trucks, rollers, dozers etc.
• The desire to learn and develop new technical skills in this brand-new position.
• Up-to-date computer skills with effective communication skills.
• Excellent customer service with a helpful and positive attitude.
• A good work ethic and a proactive approach to work.
• Driver's license, Australian Citizen or PR - ESSENTIAL.

• Full-time, Permanent role with a growing, stable and trust-worthy Heavy Equipment OEM.
• Starting rates from $50-$57 per hour with penalty rates & excellent overtime hours, plus Super.
