Your Role as a New Graduate Paediatric OT

Therapy Design & Implementation: Craft and deliver targeted individual and group sessions, utilising play-based and sensory-integrative approaches.

Family Education and Support: Collaborate closely with families to educate and empower them with strategies to support their child's development at home and in the community.

Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Work cohesively with professionals across disciplines, ensuring a rounded approach to care.

School and Community Engagement: Liaise with schools, childcare centers and community organizations to integrate therapy goals across all environments. Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and support teachers in implementing strategies.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, intervention plans, session notes and progress reports.

Who Are We Looking For?

Our ideal candidate will be an Occupational Therapist who:

• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy with (or pending) AHPRA registration.
• Are passionate about paediatric care and supporting families.
• Have strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Are eager to learn, take on challenges, and engage in supervision and training.
• Are eligible for a Working With Children Check and have a valid driver’s licence (or can obtain one soon).
