About the Role
The Labour Hire Licensing Compliance Unit (LHLCU) plays a crucial role in safeguarding Queensland's labour hire industry under the Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017. We are seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst to join our dedicated team and develop intelligence products that inform high-level strategies, regulatory operations, and targeted compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, evaluate, and analyse information to support investigations and regulatory activities.
- Prepare high-quality intelligence reports, briefings, and data-driven insights.
- Identify emerging trends, vulnerabilities, and opportunities to enhance compliance strategies.
- Maintain contemporary knowledge of intelligence methodologies and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach colleagues in intelligence best practices.
- Contribute effectively to team operations through engagement and reporting.
What We're Looking For:

- Skilled in intelligence analysis, research, and problem-solving.
- Experienced in regulatory, law enforcement, or compliance settings (highly regarded).

- Adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Experience with association charting software (e.g., IBM Analyst's Notebook).
- Understanding of workplace laws, regulations, or government processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to manage sensitive, confidential, or restricted-access information.
