Assistant Bottleshop Manager

We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Bottleshop Manager to join our team at The Marryatville Hotel. We are looking for a customer experience focused individual with strong wine knowledge and proven skill regarding stock management control, Strong Marketing and EDM background. Playing a critical role in maintaining store presentation and activating promotions and company standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Contributing to the selection of stock and organisation of ordering, cost controlling and waste management of products
• Strong Wine Knowledge background, WEST Level 2 advantage
• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder, client and supplier relationships
• Financial performance of the business with a focus on driving a sales performance culture
• Maximizing presentation and merchandising of products and other initiatives
• Effective stock management control and promotion of loyalty programs
• To lead by example and ensure all Hotel procedures are adhered to
• Manage time through effective planning to maintain a high level of productivity

About you

• A customer and team focused approach
• Communicating clear direction, strategy, goals and expectations, developing an inclusive, positive team culture
• An ability to guide, develop and inspire your team through change.
• Flexibility to work rotational rosters, public holidays and weekends
• Experience as a Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a previous drive-through Bottle Shop role
• Local and international product knowledge
• Working knowledge or various computer software programs (MS Office, POS)
• RSA
• Understanding of H&L advantageous
