This role will integrate seamlessly with the Bastion Defence Executive providing a number of functions in addition to Human Resources. This will include being a part of tender teams and actively working with us on our forecasts and plans for future work and how we will meet our client's requirements.

Qualifications & experience

• Deep Level of Cybersecurity and ICT Knowledge
• Experience Level from Graduate to 10 Years (Multiple Opportunities)
• Previous Defence Experience is Highly Desirable (Not Essential)
• Experience with Cyber Security is Highly Desirable (Not Essential)
• Bachelor Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, ICT Related Field or Significant and Demonstrable On the Job Experience May be Considered.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Confirm Current and Future Resource Requirements.
• Develop 3 Month Look Ahead Recruitment Plan.
• Execute 3 Month Look Ahead Recruitment Plan.
• Advertise Roles Internally and Externally.
• Seek Internal Referrals for Roles.
• Shortlist Candidates, Conduct Interviews, Complete Interview Reports.
• Manage Contracts of Employment.
• Notify Onboarding Stakeholders and Relevant Manager of New Starters.
• Review Consolidated Monthly Report.
• Promote Social Company Engagement.
• Review Median Salaries by Domain.
• Engage with Regional Managers/Team Leaders for Cultural Improvement Opportunities.
• Contribute to the Marketing Strategy.
• Contribute to and Maintain Capability Statements.
• Manage Delivery of Marketing Materials and Branded Clothing/PPE.
• Manage Announcements and Achievements.
• Manage Website Content.
• Development of Talent Acquisition, Marketing and Human Resource Processes.
• Bid Development.

Other Roles and Responsibilities:

• Attend Conferences.
• Attend Awards Nights.
• Seek Out Points of Contact with Potential Clients and Arrange Meetings.
• Regular Check in on Client and Personnel on Assignment.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience with recruitment - Defence context highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience managing HR functions including: recruitment, performance management and adherence to company processes.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including report writing and presentation abilities.
• High level of computer literacy and software tools that relate to the HR function.
