As our business is continually growing, we are seeking an additonal Production Leading Hand to join our team at TSI Pharmaceuticals in Eagle Farm, Queensland. This is a full-time hands-on role where you will be actively working in the production line and responsible for leading a team of production workers and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our packaging facility.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure the production line operates efficiently and meets throughput targets.
• Maintain quality control standards, including in-process inspections, machine calibrations, and documentation accuracy.
• Ensure the workflow of production activities is efficient and effective
• Ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and all relevant pharmaceutical regulations.
• Supervise, train, and provide direction to a team of operators, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Optimise workflow to minimize downtime between batch changes and maximize output.
• Ensure timely and effective line changeovers to meet production schedules.
• Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot technical processing issues, and investigate failures and incidents to solve
• Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve production effectiveness.

About you

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, food, or veterinary manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience with packaging line operations, process optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Mechanically minded – an understanding of how things work
• Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, including TGA and GMP guidelines (highly desirable).
