What You’ll Do
As an Educational Leader at Shapes Early Learning, you will:
- Collaborate with educators and provide curriculum direction and guidance that foster children’s growth and development.
- Support educators to effectively implement the cycle of planning to enhance programs and practices
- Lead the implementation of an effective educational program at UMG.
- Ensure that children’s learning and development are guided by the learning outcomes of the approved learning frameworks
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with our leadership team to create a welcoming, inspiring space for all.
- Guide and develop educators and families’ understandings about play and leisure-based learning, and the significance of the early years in the education continuum for children
- Be an integral part of building the knowledge, skills and professionalism of educators
What We’re Looking For
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Dedication to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment for children.
- Valid Working with children check.
