Garlo's Pies is an innovative and fast-growing business. As we continue to grow in 2024, we are currently hiring Process Workers to join our team. We have multiple roles on offer and are looking for individuals with a ‘can do attitude’ and are extremely reliable.
We are searching for individuals to start work ASAP, available for 40 hours a week across 4 production days. These days are Monday - Thursday.
There are various starting and finishing times for our shifts. These shifts could be from either:
- 6am - 4pm; or
- 9am - 7pm.
The different shift starting and finishing times align to our Production (kitchen, pastry, oven & product processing lines) as well as our Post Production (product wrapping, packing & inventory capture) area needs.
Experience in food production is essential.
Ideal candidates will be physically capable of being on their feet for 8-10 hours a day, lifting up to 15kgs and performing repetitive movements. Above all we are looking for employees with the right attitude & willingness to learn.
We also offer the opportunity for career progression for individuals looking to take on more responsibility and manage a small team.
The successful candidates would (ideally have but is not necessary) a basic understanding of HACCP and GMP, to ensure compliance. On site training is provided on WH&S and Food Safety.

In May 2013, the Garlick family moved their Head Office and Bakery to a brand new, purpose built 1350sq. metre facility in St. Peters Sydney. coincidentally the new home of Garlo's is only 900 metres from their old site in St. Peters where they lovingly made their pies since 2001. the new baking facility has a current capacity to produce over 4500 units an hour, but also flexible enough to custom manufacture any pastry product you may desire.

Having outgrown our St Peters factory, Garlo's have opened a brand new bakery at 5 Garema Circuit Kingsgrove NSW 2208. Four times the size of St Peters, and conveniently located, the new premises will take Garlo's into the future with new pie ranges, and more and more outlets.
