About the role

As a Front-End Angular Developer, your primary responsibility will be improving and extending our existing, mature and in-production Angular application. Duties will include a combination of new feature implementation, user experience improvements, bug fixes, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of our front-end architecture. This will often include resolving complex issues and refactoring legacy code.

At CivilPro you will be working with a small team of highly experienced developers. You will be expected to have a very strong understanding of Angular, including key libraries such as RxJs, and to be across recently introduced changes such as signals.

Our Angular SPA connects to our .Net API. You will need experience in interacting with API endpoints from Angular including authentication. It will be an advantage to have a comprehension-level or better understanding of C# and more specifically ASP.NET APIs. If you are across ASP.NET, as FYI we use EF and AutoMapper.

We use the DevExpress UI library. It is not expected that applicants will have experience, but exposure to such widgets or similar will be positively considered.

About you

• Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong focus on relatively modern versions of Angular
• Comprehensive knowledge of Angular, including components, services, directives, routing, and state management (e.g., NgRx, RxJS)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities
• Reasonable communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous communications
• Day to day level familiarity with GIT (e.g. basic principles, branches, commits, pull requests, merges)
• Knowledge of Front-End tooling (e.g., Webpack, npm, yarn)
• Ability to work remotely effectively and productively

The following will be an advantage but are not pre-requisites:

• Experience with DevOps pipelines, specifically deploying to Azure environments
• Experience in responsive design or UI customizations for mobile devices
• Exposure to DevExpress UI tools
• Comprehension level understanding of C# and ASP.NET APIs
• Familiarity with working in small teams and short release cycles
