About the role:
Senior Finance Officer plays an integral role in ensuring the objectives of the Finance team are met by providing accounting and finance services for EARC
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Strong computing skills in Microsoft office products, especially Excel
- Foundation knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST)
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of all applicable finance and business processes
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to conduct multiple processes and tasks concurrently over varying timeframes
- Have proven experience in finance processing, typically 3+ years
- Proven skills in finance processing and sound knowledge of relevant accounting processes and taxation legislation particularly GST
- Excellent customer service skills and effective written communication
- Ability to work collaboratively both within a team and independently to reach successful outcomes and deliver high standards of work
It would be desirable if you also possessed:
- Experience in TechnologyOne desired.
Key Performance Areas:
- Zero creditor accounts placed on stop credit
- Less than 10% debts over 90 days
- 99% accuracy in AR and AP processing including supplier payments
- EOM targets for financial accounting (including bank, AR, AP, Rates) achieved 99% of months
- Grant reporting meeting contractual deadlines

What you'll get in return:
Part-time Opportunity (30.4 hours per Week)
Level 5 - Salary $82,983 - $88,036(excluding super and locality allowance).
You will also benefit from 6 weeks of Annual Leave with 17.5% leave loading (pro-rated based on hours worked)
