About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at Hancock's Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Electrical in Whyalla, South Australia. As a full-time Refrigeration Mechanic, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide range of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out preventative maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• On call roster
• Provide technical advice and guidance to clients
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

• A Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic
• Experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations and safety requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Customer service orientation and strong communication skills
• A current driver's licence
• Willing to obtain National Police and Working With Children clearances
