About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced light vehicle Mechanic to join our Bridgestone team in Kelmscott, WA. As a Bridgestone Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our customers' vehicles to the highest standard. What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
• Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and inspections
• Use advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve complex problems
• Provide exceptional customer service, explaining repair recommendations and options clearly
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
• Contribute to a positive, safety-focused team environment

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
• Experience as a qualified Mechanic, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
