Vinova are partnered with a leader in sustainable energy solutions, we are seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to lead the design and engineering of energy projects, focusing on substations, high voltage systems, and transformers. In this role, you will oversee the design and engineering teams, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective project delivery, while meeting regulatory standards. You will manage timelines, budgets, and resources, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure project success. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to junior staff, review technical deliverables, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design and engineering teams for substations, high voltage systems, and transformers.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Review and approve design documents and specifications.

Mentor junior engineers and foster a high-performance team environment.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.

10+ years' experience in design and engineering of energy projects, with expertise in substations, high voltage, and transformers.

Proven project management and leadership skills.

In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP).

Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent is desirable.
