About the position

Gumdale Pharmacy is seeking a motivated Pharmacy assistant to join our team for approximately 20 hours per week, including Saturdays. Your role will be to provide outstanding customer service and support to our pharmacists to ensure our patients receive excellent health care.

Qualities sought
- experience as a Pharmacy Assistant preferred
- you hold or will obtain relevant pharmacy qualifications in S2 / S3 medicines
- ability to communicate and emphathise with patients
- capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- ability to use pharmacy computer systems
- willingness to contribute to a team effort

About your role

- Impart informed and friendly customer service to patients, answering queries and explaining

- Maintain stock levels in the front area of the pharmacy, including using computer systems

- Handle cash and card payment transactions

- Maintain relevant pharmacy qualifications with refresher training
