Our client is looking for an experienced Traffic Engineer Manager to join their growing team.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure the implementation of traffic management works is carried out within specifications, applicable legislation, approvals and standards
• Conduct and administer job planning and programming with minimal disruption to the surrounding road network for works that may include short range and intermediate activities
• Undertake minor adjustments on site and monitor these recommended changes to the traffic management plans to increase the ease and convenience of required works
• Exercise professional judgement in resolving traffic management issues, i.e. local council, local residents, road users, etc.
• Develop traffic management plans for all project work phases ensuring the plans are in accordance with the relevant Acts, Standards and Guidelines
• Implement and communicate risk controls and actions involved in the delivery and implementation of the works to be undertaken from a traffic prospective
• Delivery of temporary and permanent signage and pavement marking packages.
• Tracking and forecasting costs

About you:

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience on tier 1 projects excess of $100M
• Work zone traffic management qualifications or ability to obtain them
• Keen to learn and upskill within the projects duration, seeking career progression to step up
• Experience booking traffic management crews
• Submission of TMR Roadworks Permits
• Read and interpret Traffic Guidance Schemes
• High level understanding of construction methodologies and logistics within temporary traffic management space
