About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Supervisor to join our team in Darwin, NT. As Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day construction works, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a full-time role with THE Mining' at Robertson Barracks.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and oversee construction activities, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
• Supervise and manage a team of construction workers, ensuring they work efficiently and safely to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate and schedule resources, equipment, and materials required for project execution.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality, adherence to design plans, and compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor and train team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Conducting site safety checks and ensuring adherence to WHS policies.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site workers to ensure smooth operations.
• Training and mentoring team members to develop skills and efficiency.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of pipe-laying techniques, site preparation, and construction drawings.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A General Construction Induction card (white card)
• A valid Drivers Licence
• Experience using GPR service locating equipment would be highly advantageous.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor/Foreman in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Must have at least 5 years' experience in supervision
• Ability to pass a police check to obtain a DCAC
