About the role:

Due to an internal movement, we are looking for an Accounting Assistant specifically with Accounts Receivable (billing) experience to join our finance team. This is a dynamic team who enjoy working together for mutually beneficial outcomes.

You will be working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve queries. Our people are key to our business, so you will be a team player and demonstrate a solutions mind set and a positive and proactive approach to your work with client care always being at the forefront.
Internal & External stakeholder relationships are key to success.

You will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager who understands the role and more importantly remains hands on to support the team and innovate/automate. The AR team along with the credit & collections team is fully supported by the Head of Credit & AR.

As an individual contributor, day to day you will be working in a high-volume environment actioning the duties below:

• Setting up billing details in our in-house accounting system.
• Processing invoices (standard, complex and Intercompany), credit notes and receipts.
• Processing contract renewals and supersedes.
• Refunds
• Cash posting / allocations (EFT & Credit Card)
• Daily direct debit.
• Shared inbox monitoring / actioning.

You will be a strong communicator a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar role. You will have impeccable written and verbal skills and excellent attention to detail. More importantly you will be a strong team player so jumping into ad hoc duties to support your work mates is critical to a successful team. Your ability to work autonomously and have a laugh is something that we value.
