Our large central workshop is well equipped with all the tools and machines of the trade to make it easy to conduct business.

Qualifications & experience

• Must hold a relevant Trade Qualification/Certificate.
• Marine mechanical and diagnostic
• Gearbox rebuilding and diagnostic advantageous
• Good knowledge of marine DC Electrical
• Basic understanding of general workshop engineering.
• Experience with shafts, bearing and sealing systems.
• Experience with propellers and rudders
• Forklift licence essential

Tasks & responsibilities

• Marine Inboard engine diagnostics
• Marine engine, Gen set and Gearbox servicing
• Shaft surveys
• Shaft and bearing installation
• Vessel re-powering
• Conduct pre-operational checks on all equipment before use.
• Sea trialing vessel as required.
