We are seeking a retail assistant to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria.

This is a casual role leading to full time.

To apply, you must be self-motivated, well-organised, know how to prioritise tasks, be customer-friendly and have a good work ethic and “can do” attitude.

The main duties associated with this role include:

• Customer assistance
• Cash register and check-out duties
• Stocking shop shelves
• Other general shop tasks
• Other tasks in other departments in our business, as required

Key qualifications and skills:

• Candidates must have full working rights (38 hour week)
• Previous cashier and grocery / supermarket experience is essential
• Knowledge of Indian/Asian groceries and health foods is beneficial

Approximate work hours:

• 8.30am to 4.00pm, totaling 38 hours per week

Remuneration and benefits:

• Full time ordinary hourly rate of $32.06 per hour (plus 11.5% superannuation) for Monday to Friday
• 10% employee discount from retail store
