We are 100% online to allow for impact, accessibility and scalability for all Australians and we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Contractor Psychologist to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our virtual team as a contractor. In this role, you will provide psychological support to NDIS participants, assisting them in managing mental health challenges, building emotional resilience, and achieving their personal goals. You will provide therapy via telehealth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychological therapy to NDIS participants
  • Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, focusing on capacity building and improving daily functioning.
  • Collaborate with other allied health professionals (e.g., OTs, Speech Pathologists) to provide integrated care and holistic support to clients.
  • Work with families and carers, helping them understand behavioural strategies, build routines, and manage challenging behaviours in a home environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, treatment plans, and client progress.

Key Requirements

  • AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
  • University degree in Psychology as a minimum
  • Minimum 3 years experience, please note there is no psychology supervision available.
  • Proven experience working with NDIS participants, both with children and adults.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing a caseload.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build a strong rapport with clients and their families.
  • Current full working rights in Australia
  • Proficiency in using online platforms for assessments and therapy.
  • BYO laptop, private room & strong internet connection is a necessity.
