Qualified Electrician – Commlec Electrical

Commlec Electrical is a young, rapidly growing electrical company established in 2020. We specialise in commercial maintenance, insurance make-safes, and high-end residential projects across Newcastle and the Central Coast. We are the preferred maintenance provider for several well-known hospitality venues, and we partner with nationwide retail brands for maintenance and new installations.

Due to steady growth, we’re now seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team and grow with us.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an electrician with a domestic background who’s eager to take their first steps into commercial work. Approximately 70% of our projects are commercial and 30% are domestic, giving you a diverse mix of work and a chance to expand your skills. What You’ll Need

NSW Electrical Supervisor Licence or Contractor’s Licence – Must be current and valid in NSW.

Experience or Willingness to Learn – Commercial maintenance experience is ideal. If you have a strong domestic background and a willingness to learn, we’ll support you as you grow into commercial work.

Great Attitude – You’re a team player with a positive attitude and good communication skills. You take pride in your work and enjoy working collaboratively.

Independence & Problem-Solving – You can work independently when needed and effectively solve problems on the job. You’re reliable, resourceful, and able to think on your feet.

Level 2 Electrical Experience and/or Solar Accreditation – These are highly regarded. If you don’t currently have either, we’ll invest in the right person by providing and paying for the necessary training and accreditation to gain these qualifications. We’re looking for someone who’s motivated to learn, grow, and expand their skills with us.
