Summary of Position
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Village Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a thriving retirement community. This role focuses on financial management, operational excellence, resident satisfaction, and team leadership, all while fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
As Village Operations Manager, you will be responsible for business performance, compliance, and risk management, while also building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily village operations, ensuring exceptional service and presentation.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with retirement living and aged care regulations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, contractors, and local services.
- Develop and implement business, resident engagement, and property maintenance plans.
- Manage resident feedback and complaints, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Promote health and safety practices across the community.
- Support risk management strategies to maintain a safe and efficient living environment.
Key Requirements
- Experience in village management, aged care, retirement living, or a similar operational leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, drive financial performance, and oversee daily operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in recruitment, coaching, and staff development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of aged care and retirement living regulations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management capabilities.
- Understanding of health and safety compliance in a residential setting.
