PM-Partners continues to seek and secure multiple open positions for experienced IT Cloud Operations and Service Management Consultants with strong understanding of Microsoft products, services, cloud technologies and automation to support the implementation of new business communications systems in this initial 6 - 12 month, contract working remotely in Australia starting ASAP.

This IT Operations and Service Management Consultant role is about helping customers to transition to the Microsoft Cloud. Our client's Cloud Service Management experts have direct experience of application migrations to Azure and of wholesale transformations of customer environments from on premise, through hybrid environments all the way to cloud native environments.

While having knowledge and experience deploying the technology itself, this role is focused on providing management information, operational guidance and governance to the IT Operations people.

Daily Rate: $1000 - $1200 (Incl)

Location: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane - Working Remotely

Duration: 6 - 12 Month Contracts

Security Requirements: MUST HAVE Current Baseline Security Clearance (or higher), PLEASE NOTE - We cannot progress you if you do not have current active clearance.

In this role you will be representing our client in all things IT and Cloud Service Management. You will be delivering consultancy solutions to enterprise organisations, contributing to change and adoption activities, influencing stakeholders and executives, managing delivery risk, managing project scope, delivery schedules, and issue resolution in highly complex, high intensity and fast paced environments.

You will be working with our client's customers to further develop and enhance their IT Service Management strategy and capabilities, with a focus on enabling customers to understand and realise the opportunities of cloud while reducing any uncertainties that may impact on people and processes that migrations to the cloud can bring.

Complimenting your several years Senior IT Operations and Service Management experience, you will also demonstrate your strengths and experience in:

• Demonstrated experience in consulting. Ability to develop workshops, host workshops, document results and build into delivery material
• Strong history and skills in mapping and documenting business process
• Strong evidence of your ability to develop new processes from scratch
• Good understanding of modern technology fields such as Azure; DevOps; and Cyber Security
• Strong exposure and experience with Microsoft technology and services
• Demonstrable experience working on digital transformation projects
• Experience working with Global IT service providers and "Big 5" consultancies (preferred)
• Highly experienced with cloud migration and SaaS, PaaS, IaaS
• MUST HAVE Certification in ITIL v2 Service Manager or ITIL v3/4 or ITIL v3/4 Foundations with several years delivery experience
• You will be a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner
• SCRUM, Agile, SAFe, Lean IT experience and training
• Understanding of Six Sigma methodology
• Good knowledge of IT standards like BS15000 and ISO20000
• Excellent communication and standard consulting skills to the highest level
