We are a small, yet busy local law firm and this position is ideal for the person that loves to interact with clients that expect professional, but personable and approachable lawyers. Most of our staff have been with us for 5 plus years, so we are looking for a lawyer with longevity in mind in their search for a position.

The position offers permanency, an opportunity to develop your own niche within the business, personable work colleagues, learning support and a pay-packet consistent with knowledge and experience, with the scope of reviewal.

You will have direct contact with clients who are used to local interaction with pleasant, professional staff.

You will need to bring with you the ability to:

• provide a high standard of client service;
• be capable of working independently within a team;
• intuitively know when to refer;
• have good communication skills (with clients and other professionals);
• be mentally capable of juggling various types of law;
• have excellent grammar and writing skills; and
• attend court

As the practice is a general law firm, in addition to family law skills, a working knowledge of the other areas of law would be an advantage, but not necessary.
