About the role

Murdock Recruitment is seeking a talented Paediatric Occupational Therapist on behalf of one of our well known clients in Perth, WA. The company originated in NSW and has recently expanded in WA, with the team and clients growing, we are looking for an experienced occupational therapist ready for their next adventure.

The role:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children with a range of developmental, physical, and/or behavioural needs
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and other health professionals to develop and implement individualised treatment plans
• Empower children to develop the skills needed for independence in daily living, social interaction, and academic performance
• Deliver therapy sessions in clinic, school, telehealth and community settings
• Document client progress and maintain detailed case notes

The Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum 1 years' experience working with children in a paediatric occupational therapy role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families
