SolidWorks PDM Implementation Specialist & Designer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled SolidWorks PDM Implementation Specialist & Designer to join our team! This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in SolidWorks design and expertise in implementing and managing PDM systems. You will be responsible for setting up and optimizing SolidWorks PDM, improving workflows, and ensuring seamless collaboration across our engineering and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 PDM Implementation & Management

• Lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of SolidWorks PDM.
• Develop and configure workflows, permissions, and data management structures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PDM users.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices for using PDM effectively.

🔹 SolidWorks Design & Engineering Support

• Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop and refine product designs.
• Ensure proper revision control and document management within PDM.
• Optimize CAD file structures and templates for efficiency.

Requirements

✔️ Experience: 3+ years of SolidWorks PDM implementation & administration.
✔️ Design Expertise: Strong proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling and drafting.
✔️ PDM Knowledge: Hands-on experience with SolidWorks PDM Professional or Standard.
✔️ Process Improvement: Ability to develop and optimize CAD/PDM workflows.
✔️ Tech Savvy: Understanding of SQL databases, API integration, and automation (a plus).
✔️ Communication: Strong ability to train and support technical and non-technical users.
