Founded in 1978, J & E Asphalt & Civil Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated multi-disciplined road works contractor that services Sydney and beyond.

About the role:

We are currently seeking reliable, adaptable and responsible Asphalt Crew personnel. In this role you will be responsible for working with asphalt (hot mix) on job sites through-out the Sydney Metropolitan areas.

Ideally you will have experience in any of the roles outlined below within the Asphalt Industry:

• General asphalt labourer (rake/shovel etc)
• Roller Operator (Steel Drum, Multi)
• Paver
• Bobcat Operator with attachments (sweeper, bucket)
• Asphalt Paver
• Screed Board

To be considered for this role you must possess the following:

• A valid NSW drivers licence
• A construction induction OH&S white card
• Valid ticket/s for the operation of plant machinery
• Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and work to deadlines including night shift, overtime, occasional weekend work and regional work when required
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Respect of others and to work as part of an efficient team
• Ability to undertake a Fit for Work Assessment and a Drug & Alcohol screen
• A valid NSW Heavy Vehicle HC Licence would be preferred

These roles are ideal for those have asphalt experience, willing to work long hours and getting the job done. You will need to be reliable, have a good eye for detail and willing to work as an important part of a crew.
