About Rec Alley
Rec Alley opened its doors in March, 2017 with a mission to get children in South West Sydney active and healthy through quality gymnastics programming.
Rec Alley classes include kinder gym, recreational gymnastics, levels, parkour, trickers (acro), tumbling, and much more. Going beyond gymnastics, Rec Alley encourages healthy living and great behaviours through designing programs that cover areas such as anti-bullying, diversity and inclusion, socialising and much more.
Rec Alley is a TWO TIME WINNER of Gymnastics NSW Large Club of the Year 2018 and 2019 award. It is also the second largest club in NSW and had the largest growth in membership numbers in 2021.
Rec Alley Clubs
Our goal is to grow and promote our growing community of Rec Alley gymnasts and families across our four clubs, Rec Alley Oran Park, Rec Alley Gregory Hills, Rec Alley Minto and our newest club Rec Alley Rosehill.
About the Role
Rec Alley is looking for energetic, passionate and driven membership services officers who are motivated by providing customers and members with a positive experience in a fast-paced sport & recreation environment.
The Rec Alley membership services team ensures that every member and their family are well looked after and their experience a positive one. The role will see you handle customer relationship management (CRM) software, whilst you do not need specific system experience, an ability using computers is advantageous.
Whether you are looking for a few mornings, afternoons, or a busy week, there are plenty of hours available with Rec Alley open seven days a week across two clubs. For the right person, there may be opportunities to also take up other roles at Rec Alley.
Rec Alley offers a very flexible work environment for those with families, study or other commitments. At Rec Alley our busiest periods are in the evenings (4:00pm - 8:00pm) and weekends, whilst we work with your availabilities, we are seeking applicants who are available in the afternoons and weekends specifically.
Paid Training Provided
All new Rec Alley membership services team members go through a paid training and buddy program to help you prepare for comfortably running the membership services area on your own. The training program is especially beneficial for those who are new to sport & recreation.
Further training for the membership services team will be provided on an ongoing basis.
Duties
- Providing membership support to gymnasts and their families
- Dealing with new enquiries, trial bookings and member queries
- Commitment to ensuring members receive an exceptional experience
- Ensuring a clean and tidy facility and sporting environment
- Working with the membership services manager to improve the experience
Skills and experience
- Experience working in a Recreational setting (highly desirable)
- Exceptional communication and people skills
- A desire to work in a fast-paced sport & recreation environment
- Ability to handle feedback in a professional manner
- An understanding of computer and/or CRM systems is advantageous
- Working with Children Check, national police check and first aid/CPR*
