About the Role:

Commencing immediately for a 6-month fixed term contract, you will play a pivotal role to provide accounting and commercial support to the Finance team. A strong focus on supporting implementation of initiatives to improve business processes and systems. Reporting to the Manager of Business Performance Improvement, you will focus on the transactional input and analysis to understand the impact of business processes on financial reporting and participate in projects to strengthen governance and internal controls.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Financial Reporting - Cost Management, P&L, interrogation & analysis
• Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
• Present financial results in the monthly Flash meetings, highlighting key insights and commentary on variances as well as providing recommendations where appropriate.
• Strengthen accounting and process governance and internal controls to ensure integrity of financial information.
• Co-ordination of quarterly business forecasts for the operations vertical.
• Work on initiatives to streamline and enhance business processes and systems, ensuring they are efficient and effective
• Identify and implement Cost Efficiency initiatives
• Support the documentation of Processes and Procedures
