Caravan Repair Technician (Casual/Part-Time)

About us

Wide Bay Caravans is a busy and expanding caravan dealership, long established in selling new and used caravans. We also offer a wide range of repair, insurance and warranty work in our 2 workshops on site.

We are looking for the right team member to join our growing local business.

About the role

We are seeking casual and/or part-time employees to join our rapidly growing business. This role will allow you to develop into a Caravan Technical Expert, where you'll work with many different brands, makes and models of caravans, campers and RVs.

During your employment in this position, you may be required to apply knowledge and skills across multiple areas including, but not limited to:

Fitting accessories including Solar Panels, Water Tanks, Satellite Dishes, TV Equipment, Air Conditioners and more.

Welding

Plumbing Repairs

Cabinetry Repairs

Fault Finding

Servicing

12V Installations & Repairs

Caravan Re-Cladding

Skills and experience

Previous experience in the same capacity working with Caravans and RVs is essential.

The successful applicant MUST also have:

An Eye for Detail

Quality Craftsmanship

Be Motivated and punctual

A current drivers license

Availability to work Monday to Friday

Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment

Great organisational skills

Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Applicants who possess a current forklift licence, along with the above-mentioned experience would be highly desirable (however is not essential).

The successful applicant will receive above award pay after probation, along with superannuation entitlements and a 2 week break over Christmas and New Year.

In addition to the above, bonuses may be awarded at the end of year as per years performance, social events hosted by the owners throughout the year and the ability to upskill for further promotion are all available.

Full time employment may also be awarded to applicants who demonstrate a comprehensive range of skills and experience after the probation period.
