GWD Electrical Engineering is seeking an experienced Solar Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Melbourne. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving the expansion of our renewable energy solutions, focusing on residential and commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify and engage with potential customers, delivering informative and persuasive sales presentations
• Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on the benefits of solar power systems, including cost savings and environmental impact
• Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, tailoring solutions to meet the specific needs of each client
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure smooth project implementation and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities and continuously strive to exceed targets
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, regulations and technological advancements
• Contribute to the growth and success of the renewable energy division within GWD Electrical Engineering

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated success in solar or renewable energy sales, preferably in the residential and commercial sectors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers
• Strong technical knowledge of solar power systems, including design, installation and performance
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-centric approach
• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, certifications and government incentives
• A genuine passion for sustainability and renewable energy solutions
