Are you an experienced Excavator Operator or HDD Drill Tracker looking to join a growing, family-owned civil construction company? Due to recent expansion, our client is expanding its team and is looking for a skilled Excavator Operator and HDD Drill Tracker to join their crew!

- HDD Drill Offsider/Tracker

Location: Carrum Downs Vic.
Type: Casual with a view to permanent full-time for the right candidate

About the Company:

Our client is a trusted, family-owned civil construction company known for delivering high-quality work. As a result of their recent growth, they are expanding their team and seeking experienced Excavator Operators and HDD Drill Trackers to their team.

Key Responsibilities:

Excavator Operator:

- Safely operate excavators for trenching and excavation work, particularly around live assets.

- Perform trenching tasks according to project specifications, ensuring precision and safety.

- Follow all safety procedures and site protocols to maintain a safe work environment.

- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

- Conduct pre-operational checks and ensure equipment is in good working condition.

- Assist with labouring tasks when required to support the overall project work.

Key Responsibilities HDD Offsider/Tracker:

- Operate and track drilling operations on-site, ensuring precise alignment and accuracy.

- Work with the drilling team to ensure projects meet specifications.

- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.

- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues.

- Assist with other on-site tasks as needed to support project completion.

Essential Qualifications:

- Proven experience in excavator operation, with a focus on trenching around live assets.

- Proven experience as a Drill Tracker with hands-on experience in civil construction projects.

- Strong commitment to safety and following safety procedures.

- Full working rights in Australia.

- White Card (Construction Induction).

- Reliable transport to and from the company yard.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to different work environments.

- Clear communication skills with team members and supervisors.

- Ability to assist with labouring tasks as required.

- HR licence advantageous.
