CIVIL CONSTRUCTION TRAINEESHIP
Protech are looking for applicants who are interested in joining the Civil Construction Industry through a traineeship pathway based in Caboolture.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Work with a leading Civil Company, who will provide you with mentorship and the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge of Civil Construction, while completing your qualification.

• Work will be based on the Bribie Island Road Upgrade in Caboolture.
• You will commence in a Certificate III in Civil Construction – Road Construction & Maintenance Traineeship which can be completed within 18-36 months depending on prior experience and skill set.
• This is a full time position Monday - Friday with a minimum of 38 hours per week plus extra overtime and weekend work if available.
• You will accrue sick and annual leave and have paid public holidays.
• Pay rates start from $27.00 per hour plus penalties for overtime, with daily travel allowance.
• Rates will increase as your progress through the traineeship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• General civil labouring tasks
• Working close to live traffic
• Set up & and dismantle onsite equipment
• Maintain a safe & clean work environment
• Adhering to the theory component of the traineeship to ensure you maintain on track with your trianeeship

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A strong desire for a Civil Construction Career with some prior experience in the industry desirable.
• Construction White Card
• Car licence and reliabel vehicle
• Ability to perform manual work
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and physical assessment
• Provide 2 recent, contactable work references
